Poster Papers

Poster papers cover the same range of topics as the rest of PNSQC 2008 - the difference being in the time and effort that goes into the final product.

The poster papers display is in the exhibits area from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Wednesday, October 15.

If you are interested in hosting a poster paper presentation, here are the details:

  • Poster paper presentations may range from a coherent, large standalone presentation that is understandable to any attendee who drops in, all the down way to a few simple printouts that you may have finished that morning. Props, demos, whatever helps the author get ideas across in a short, informal setting.
  • Poster papers should not take you more than a few hours to prepare.
  • Poster paper authors are expected to be available during the morning break (9:30 - 9:55 AM) and the afternoon break (2:55 - 3:10 PM) and are encouraged to spend additional time with their poster paper display.
  • Each poster will be furnished with one wall (at least 5′ x 5′) and optionally a small table (4′ x 2′). There will be no electrical power; however, presenters can bring a laptop for the time they are present. PNSQC will provide pins & tape to mount authors’ posters.
  • Authors are encouraged to bring business cards and make copies of their materials to give to interested conference participants.

While the intension of poster paper sessions is informal, there are a few logistical considerations, so we will need to receive submissions prior to midnight Monday, October 6, 2008.

To submit a poster paper, include your name, affiliation, a ten-word title for your presentation and send it to program at pnsqc.org
