PNSQC Membership
There are 2 types of PNSQC members:
- Voting Members – participate in running and managing the PNSQC non-profit organization. See the Volunteers page under About PNSQC for more information.
- Community Members – use the PNSQC website to share and exchange information, interact, and network with the rest of the community.

Advantages of Community Membership
We want PNSQC to be more than an annual conference. We also want to promote an on-line community to enable easy, safe interaction that benefits professional growth, problem-solving, and learning. Membership:
- Provides a more spam-proof, privacy protected way for people with a common interest to interact and exchange information about software quality.
- Enhances confidence about raising questions or issues that are work-related, technical, or professional in some regard by confining the audience to people who are respectful and are serious about software quality.
- Promotes interaction about conference content after the conference and throughout the year, with speakers including keynotes and invited speakers. The abstracts from every conference presentation are available and searchable to the public. However, only PNSQC community members will be able to re-view videos of keynotes and invited speakers and raise questions to them in forums, and perhaps have other interested members join the discussion.
- Makes it easier to develop peer professional relationships. Members maintain a profile indicating what information about themselves they are willing to share with other members.
- Helps PNSQC organizers and volunteers more effectively manage PNSQC by using more automation to manage things such as newsletter distribution.
Only the beginnings of this professional “facebook-like” group have been rolled out on our website so far. Much more is planned and will be coming in the future.
