Andy Tinkham is a principal lead consultant in the QAT practice at Magenic, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. He works with Magenic’s clients to design effective testing plans and tools to provide the information required about the quality of the system under test to the people who need it at the time they need it. He has spent most of the last 20 years working on software testing, with his main passion being around test automation. He is also firmly attached to and passionate about his iOS devices.He is a frequent and popular speaker, and can often be found talking about various testing-related topics.
Andy holds an M.S. in Software Engineering and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology, where he is working with Cem Kaner, Keith Gallagher, Richard Ford, and Rich Griffith on qualitative research on how testers interact with each other when testing in pairs.
