Chris Cowell is an independent technical trainer, coach, and writer based in Portland, Oregon. He developed and tested software for two decades, but since discovering that he likes people more than computers, he now focuses on technical training. His specialties are Cucumber, behavior-driven development, and helping less-technical folks feel comfortable, confident, and free of impostor syndrome as they onboard at software companies. Chris studied computer science at Harvard and philosophy at Berkeley but really learned to teach by trying to show his aging parents how to use email.
