New this year at PSNQC: Enterprise IT Quality Forum
PNSQC 2019 now includes an Enterprise IT Quality Forum for managers and consultants. The Forum is a chance to focus on the top challenges managers face when delivering or acquiring quality enterprise systems in today’s quickly evolving business environments. It will be intense and interactive!
IT spending in 2019 is estimated to reach $2.8 trillion worldwide. The vertical industries with the largest IT spending are (in order):
- banking & securities
- manufacturing & natural resources
- communications & media services
- and, education
Large enterprises in these vertical markets represent a majority of IT investments worldwide. PNSQC 2019 organizers recognize that large enterprises in these vertical industries face unique challenges in increasingly Agile business environments.
The Inaugural Forum
To maximize the learning and the sharing of ideas, this new Forum will run in parallel with the six technical tracks of paper presentations.
It will be based on facilitated discussions on 4 topics to be selected with your help. Each topic will be allocated for 40 minutes.
In facilitated discussions, participants identify key problems within a selected topic and discuss solution strategies and tactics. Participants will take home new ideas and meet new colleagues.
A facilitator will guide the group discussion to assure focus on the shared context of enterprise IT. The advantage of facilitated discussions includes improved meeting outcomes and efficiency, enabling better utilization of time spent.
Great Value for PNSQC Attendees
The Forum is geared towards colleagues that work in or with large enterprises. It is additional, industry-focused content sure to start conversations and inspire new organizational approaches. And it is completely free to attend for conference registrants.
In the coming month, you will be asked to participate in a survey to help select four topics of the Forum that matter to you. Please stay tuned.
